Vi Thi Huong Thom - I love love love it
I usually don't read novels talking about wars, they're simply too sad. But this book is not only about wars, and unfortunately that makes it even sadder. I felf breathless while reading the first quarter of the book, about memories of how Amir and Hassan growing up together, and saw pain in every word, every scene recalled by regretful Amir. But later it revealed that he had just been too hard on himself, and what he did was bad but understandable. And I'm glad that at the end he finally finds peace and forgiveness for himself. The whole story is very well-organized but also unpredictable which may sometimes surprise readers of how things are put together. It was also quite easy to read, though sometimes i got irritated of not getting as fast as i wished due to so many new words.
